Enzyme Magic™ Urine Stain & Odour Remover | 250ml Professional Concentrate

Eliminate Uric Acid Crystals with IntelliZyme™ Technology: The Ultimate Pet & Human Urine Neutraliser

  • Molecular odour elimination by penetrating uric crystals (not masking)
  • Biodegradable bio-actives, plant-based enzyme concentrate
  • Zero-residue, microbiome-safe cleaning solution
  • pH neutral, soap free

The Science of Permanent Odour Removal

All urine contains urea and uric acid crystals. While basic cleaners might wash away the urea, they leave behind non-soluble crystals that trap odours. These crystals reactivate with humidity, causing smells to return months later.

Our advanced enzymatic formula penetrates deep into these crystals, dismantling them at a molecular level to ensure both the stain and the odour are gone for good.

Why Enzyme Magic™ is the Superior Choice:

  • Maximum Value: 50% more concentrated than leading competitors, making it the most economical choice on the market.
  • IntelliZyme™ Power: Utilises rapid-action plant-based enzymes to break down organic matter faster and more effectively.
  • Rivermint Freshness: Infused with a water-miscible Rivermint fragrance that leaves a crisp scent and evaporates completely without leaving a sticky residue.
  • Soap-Free & pH Neutral: The specialised surfactant allows for deep penetration into hard surfaces and fabrics without damaging delicate fibres or leaving “dirt-magnet” films.
  • Safe & Sustainable: 100% biodegradable, non-toxic, and Australian-made. It is completely safe for use around children, dogs, and cats.

Versatile Application

  • Whether you are dealing with a fresh accident or a long-standing “problem spot,” Enzyme Magic works across all surfaces:
  • Soft Surfaces: Carpets, rugs, upholstery, and mattresses.
  • Hard Surfaces: Tiles, grout, floorboards, and synthetic turf.
  • Pet Areas: Litter boxes, kennels, and pet bedding.

FAQ's - Urine Stain & Odour Remover

1. The Chemistry of Cleaning

Enzymatic cleaners contain beneficial bacteria that produce enzymes. These enzymes specifically break down the organic molecules in pet waste (urine, faeces, vomit) like proteins, fats, and, most importantly, uric acid crystals. Regular cleaners only remove the surface mess and water-soluble components, but the water-insoluble uric acid crystals are left behind, which reactivate the awful odour, especially in humidity. Enzymatic cleaners destroy the odour source.

The heat from a steam cleaner can actually “set” the protein-based stains and the uric acid crystals deeper into the carpet fibres, padding, and even the subfloor, making the stain and odour permanent and much harder to remove. Always use cold or lukewarm water when cleaning fresh pet urine.

2. The Tough-to-Solve Problems

Old stains are the hardest because the urine has often soaked into the carpet backing and pad, and the uric acid crystals are deeply embedded.

Solution: A UV blacklight is the best tool to locate old, invisible stains (they glow yellow-green in the dark). Once found, the area must be saturated with an enzymatic cleaner to reach the depth of the contamination (the pad/subfloor). For severe contamination, professional cleaning or even replacing the carpet pad/sealing the subfloor might be necessary.

Different surfaces require different approaches:

      • Upholstery/Mattresses: The core issue is the depth of soaking. You must extract as much liquid as possible first (blotting, pressing down with towels). Then, apply an enzymatic cleaner, allowing it sufficient “dwell time” to work, and ensuring the treated area is fully dried with airflow.
      • Hardwood/Tile: These surfaces are generally easier, but urine can still damage grout or penetrate wood finishes. Wipe up immediately, then use a pH-neutral enzymatic cleaner safe for that specific floor type. For deeply stained wood, gentle sanding and resealing might be required after cleaning.

3. Safety & Prevention

      • Bleach and Ammonia: NEVER mix bleach and urine (or ammonia-based cleaners) as it can create toxic chloramine gas. Also, the strong, chemical odour can encourage a pet to mark the spot again.
      • Vinegar and Baking Soda: These are effective natural deodorisers and mild cleaners but do not break down the uric acid crystals like an enzymatic cleaner. They are great for neutralising the immediate ammonia smell after removing the bulk of the mess, but should not be relied upon as the final solution for permanent odour removal.

Pets, especially cats, are drawn back to an accident spot by the lingering odour of the uric acid crystals. The key to prevention is total odour elimination using an enzymatic cleaner. Some products also contain deterrents (like bitter apple or specific essential oils) to discourage re-marking, but a clean surface is the primary deterrent.
